The globe valve controls the flow of fluid by adjusting the rise and fall of the valve core. When the operator turns the handwheel or handle, the valve core rises or falls. The movement of the valve core changes the gap between the valve seat and the valve cover, thereby adjusting the opening degree of the fluid channel. When the valve core rises, the fluid channel decreases, restricting the passage of fluid; conversely, when the valve core descends, the fluid channel expands, increasing the fluid flux.

The globe valve can be operated by manually operating a handwheel, handle or through an automated system such as electric or pneumatic. This makes it suitable for both scenarios requiring manual control and industrial processes requiring remote or automatic control. This flexibility makes globe valves suitable for a variety of industrial applications, from simple manual operation to highly automated production processes.

The valve body and valve core of the globe valve can be made of a variety of materials to adapt to the requirements of different fluids and working conditions. Common materials include cast iron, stainless steel, copper alloy, etc. This versatility allows globe valves to adapt to a variety of environments and media, ensuring they perform well in different applications.
